​​The Society was formed in 1981 for those interested in all aspects of art. The Society is a friendly, enthusiastic group who enjoy talks, demonstrations and workshops at their monthly meetings.


Everyone who has an interest in art will be warmly welcomed to join the Framlingham Art Society.

Meetings


Monthly afternoon meetings are held in the United Free Church Hall, opposite the Solar Supermarket car park in Framlingham, on the second Friday of each month from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Indoor painting sessions are held fortnightly in the Unitarian Meeting Room. Dates and details are published in the FAS programme and on the FAS website. Outdoor painting sessions take place at various locations in our local area each month during the summer.

 Annual Exhibition and Sale of Works of Art

The Society holds an annual exhibition of work in August. Members’ work is exhibited alongside other local artists. The exhibition is hung in the Castle Community Rooms and regularly displays over 200 works of art.

Membership

The annual subscription is £20 a year and joint membership £25.
